During October the Zion Cemetery and Barnyard offers a costumed tour of the cemetery where you will visit the graves of Revolutionary War heroes and learn about the contributions to and history of the Revolutionary War in the area.

Interested in Civil War history? Tour Fort Mitchell, the remains of a coastal defense battery that was erected in 1862 to protect Port Royal from incursions from Confederate gunboats. Whether it is warm apple pie, crisp fall leaves, the rich smell of the earth after a rain, or cinnamon and pumpkin spice, the scents of Autumn conjure up memories.
